i got the idea for a radish rattle after learning to crochet in the round from my japanese amigurumi crochet books. a friend found me this egg-shaped rattle and i crocheted a little radish suit around it. i love the alliteration: radish rattle radish rattle radish rattle. i sent this one off to wee isabel today.

OHMYGOD this thing almost makes me want to have another baby! It's adorable! You should do other veggies, too. Beets, for example. Ooooh, I know! Do those, they'll sell like hotcakes, then I'LL get a grant to do a longitudinal study on the effects of these rattles on the children's willingness to eat their vegetables later in life.
Adorable!! Don't you love my baby enough to make him one, too? Maybe you'll have to quit your job to make all these cute things. . . .
